The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has started a national strike. Canada Post’s operations will be shut down for the duration of a national strike. It is for this reason that we have made the decision to temporarily disable Canada Post shipments in our store. Until further notice, we will be offering UPS, Canpar, and Purolator only as delivery carriers. 

It is important to note that with Canada Post no longer offering service, operating shipping carriers will be absorbing much of the additional package volume, and as a result, delays are to be expected. Standard/Ground level shipments can expect to see increased lead time for deliveries. We would recommend opting for Expedited or Express rates if receiving your items quickly is high priority. 

What if my order has already been dispatched, or is in transit, during the labour stoppage?

Unfortunately, items that have already been dispatched to Canada Post are no longer under our care and control, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenging time. Our Customer Support agents do not have any additional care and control, information, estimates, or timeframes for the completion of the delivery or resolution of the labour dispute. Please refer to the Canada Post website for more information. 

What if I need my order sent to a PO Box?

Since Canada Post is the only carrier authorized to deliver to PO Boxes, we unfortunately will not be able to fulfill any orders placed to a PO Box at this time, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We would highly recommend selecting a street address instead, in which UPS, Purolator, or Canpar will be able to complete delivery.
